Biography

Ryan Kernaghan is a cinematographer. He was director of photography on the film Kneecap (2024) and on two episodes of the series Ted Lasso (2021).

His debut feature as cinematographer was Bad Day for the Cut (2017), which premiered at Sundance. Subsequent credits include the films The Devil's Doorway (2018), Boys from County Hell (2021) and Kneecap, and episodes of the series The Bay (2019–2021), Wreck (2022–2024) and Karen Pirie (2022). He has won a BAFTA Award and received an IFTA nomination.
