Biography
Ryūji Saikachi (also credited as Ryuji Saikachi and Ryûji Saikachi) was a Japanese actor and voice actor. He was born on 27 March 1928 in Tokyo and died there on 29 September 2017.
Saikachi was active from 1958 to 2010. He provided voices for numerous anime films and television series, including the Old Engineer in Castle in the Sky (1986), Roujin in Tokyo Godfathers (2003), Grand Kai in Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn (1995), and Mole Beastman in the Kamen Rider Amazon television series (1974–1975). He also voiced Matthew Cuthbert in the anime adaptation of Anne of Green Gables (1979).
