Biography
Sally Rooney is an Irish writer. She was born on 20 February 1991 in Castlebar, County Mayo.
Her debut novel Conversations with Friends was published in 2017 and adapted into a 2022 television series. Her second novel Normal People (2018) was adapted into a 2020 series for which she received a writing credit.
Rooney has since published two further novels, Beautiful World, Where Are You (2021) and Intermezzo (2024).
