Biography
Sandrine Dumas is a French actress and director. Born on 28 April 1963 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, she trained at the Cours Lecoq and began her career in film and theatre.
She is known for roles including Catherine in Krzysztof Kieślowski's The Double Life of Véronique (1991), Martine in Miloš Forman's Valmont (1989), and appearances in films such as The Legend of the Holy Drinker (1988) and Let the Sunshine In (2017). She has also directed short films and features, including Le Garde du corps (2003), which won a special jury prize at the Berlin Film Festival.
Dumas is the daughter of Jean-Louis Dumas, former chairman of Hermès.
