Biography
Sarah Gubbins is a writer and producer. She began her career as a playwright in Chicago, with works produced at Steppenwolf Theatre and other venues. She holds an MFA in Writing for the Screen and Stage from Northwestern University.
Her film and television credits include the screenplay for Shirley (2020), on which she also served as producer. She has written episodes of Better Things (2019), Pam & Tommy (2022) and Black Rabbit (2025). Gubbins created the series I Love Dick (2016–2017) and has additional producer credits on several of these projects.
