Biography
Sarah Sherman, also known professionally as Sarah Squirm, is an American comedian, actress and screenwriter. She was born on 7 March 1993 in Great Neck, New York, and graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in theatre.
Sherman joined the cast of the NBC sketch series Saturday Night Live as a featured player for its 47th season in 2021 and was promoted to repertory status in 2023. She performs stand-up under the Sarah Squirm name, specialising in surreal and body-horror comedy, and released the HBO special Sarah Squirm: Live + In the Flesh in 2025.
Her screen credits include voice roles in Nimona (2023) and Severance (2022), appearances in films such as You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah (2023) and Jackass Forever (2022), and the role of Kris's agent in Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma (2026).
