Biography
Sarah Warne is a British composer for television and film. She graduated from the National Film and Television School and earlier studied English Literature at Oxford University and contemporary and electronic music composition at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She trained initially as a classical harpist and pianist.
Warne is known for her scores for the Channel 4 series Humans (2015–2018), the BBC series Time (2021–2023), the ITV miniseries Des (2020) and The Long Shadow (2023), and the Amazon Prime series Lazarus (2025). She has also composed for Steeltown Murders (2023), Bookish (2025) and various documentaries.
She received an Ivor Novello Award nomination for Best Television Soundtrack for Lazarus.
