Biography
Scott Edward Adkins (born 17 June 1976) is an English actor and martial artist. He was born in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands.
Adkins began practising martial arts at the age of ten and has trained in judo, taekwondo (earning a black belt at nineteen), kickboxing and other styles. He made his film debut in the early 2000s and gained prominence for his role as Yuri Boyka in Undisputed II: Last Man Standing (2006), which he reprised in Undisputed III: Redemption (2010) and Boyka: Undisputed (2017). His first lead role was as Casey Bowman in Ninja (2009), reprised in the 2013 sequel.
He has appeared in supporting roles in mainstream films including The Expendables 2 (2012), Zero Dark Thirty (2012), Ip Man 4: The Finale (2019) and John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023), in which he played Killa. Most of his lead roles have been in direct-to-video releases such as Close Range (2015), Accident Man (2018) and Avengement (2019).
