Biography
Scott Hill is an American film editor. He trained at the University of Southern California film school and began his career as a negative cutter at Technicolor before moving into editorial as an assistant editor on the television series Law & Order.
He worked for eight years as first assistant editor to Don Zimmerman on films including The Nutty Professor (1996), Liar Liar (1997) and Patch Adams (1998). Hill's first credit as editor came on Bruce Almighty (2003), directed by Tom Shadyac. He has since edited numerous comedies, including Evan Almighty (2007), Accepted (2006), Monster-in-Law (2005), Zookeeper (2011), Here Comes the Boom (2012) and Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 (2015). He is a member of the American Cinema Editors.
