Biography
Scott P. Murphy is a production designer based in the New York City area. Architecturally trained, he began his career working for architects Frank O. Gehry and Richard Meier before moving into set design and art direction.
His production design credits include the Netflix series Marvel's Daredevil (season 2, 2016), The Punisher (2017–2019), Luke Cage (season 2, 2018) and Bloodline (2015), as well as Mayor of Kingstown (2021–). Earlier in his career he contributed art direction to films including Spider-Man (2002), Spider-Man 2 (2004) and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004). He received three Primetime Emmy nominations for art direction on The Sopranos and an Art Directors Guild nomination for The Playboy Club.
