Biography
Seth Reed is a production designer and former art director. He holds a master's degree in architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture and practised architecture for ten years before moving into film and television. His first Hollywood credit was as a set designer on the 1993 western Tombstone.
Reed has worked as production designer on the Apple TV+ series For All Mankind (from 2019), 9-1-1: Lone Star (2020–2021), The Gifted (2018–2019), the miniseries The Long Road Home (2017) and Shut Eye (2016). Earlier credits as art director or supervising art director include Minority Report (2002), Real Steel (2011), Fight Club (1999) and Tombstone.
He received a Primetime Emmy nomination for art direction on Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey (2014) and an Art Directors Guild award for From the Earth to the Moon (1998). He has also received ADG nominations for For All Mankind.
