Biography
Shaniqua Okwok is a British actress. She was born in Surrey to a Ugandan mother and a Jamaican father. She attended The BRIT School and graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2018.
Okwok received the Laurence Olivier Bursary Award in 2017. Her television debut came in 2018 as Helen Nedarson in Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators. She is known for roles including Solly Babatunde in It's a Sin (2021), Patty in Small Axe (2020), Lotta Nagel in Van der Valk (2020), Leah in War of the Worlds (2019), Dominique in Wolfe (2021), and Maia in The Flatshare (2022). She has also appeared in Maigret (2025) as Berthe Janvier.
