Biography
Shaunette Renée Wilson is a Guyanese actress. She was born on 19 January 1990 in Linden, Guyana, and raised in New York City from the age of two. She earned a BA in Drama and Theatre from Queens College and an MFA from the Yale School of Drama in 2016.
Wilson began her professional career in 2017 with a recurring role in the series Billions. She is best known for portraying Dr. Mina Okafor across four seasons of The Resident (2018–2021). Her film credits include Black Panther (2018) as a Dora Milaje warrior, A Kid Like Jake (2018), and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023) as Agent Mason.
