Biography
Sim Evan-Jones is a film editor. He began his career working at Steven Spielberg's Amblimation studio in London in the early 1990s before moving to Los Angeles in 1995 as one of the first employees of DreamWorks Animation. There he worked on The Prince of Egypt (1998) and edited Shrek (2001) and Shrek 2 (2004) for director Andrew Adamson.
Evan-Jones continued his collaboration with Adamson on The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008). He later edited films including Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang (2010), Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away (2012), Mr. Pip (2012), Shaun the Sheep Movie (2015), Early Man (2018), A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon (2019) and Ron's Gone Wrong (2021). He has received five award nominations, including an American Cinema Editors Eddie Award nomination for Shrek.
