Biography
Aron J. Warner is an American film producer, screenwriter and voice actor. He is best known for producing the animated films Shrek (2001), Shrek 2 (2004) and Shrek the Third (2007), and for voicing the Big Bad Wolf in the series. He also served as executive producer on Shrek Forever After (2010).
Warner graduated from UCLA Film School. He began his career as a production coordinator at Empire Pictures and later worked at Film Finances and as vice president of production at Twentieth Century Fox, where he oversaw films including True Lies (1994). He joined PDI/DreamWorks in 1997 as producer on Antz (1998).
Warner received the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature for Shrek (2001), the first film to win in that category. He has also produced Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away (2012), Wish Dragon (2021) and other projects, and served as executive producer on The Book of Life (2014) and The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019).
