Biography
Simon Chinn is a British film producer. He founded Red Box Films and is a co-founder of Lightbox. His credits include numerous feature documentaries and television projects.
Chinn produced Man on Wire (2008), directed by James Marsh, which won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. He also produced Searching for Sugar Man (2012), another Oscar winner for Best Documentary Feature, as well as Project Nim (2011), The Imposter (2012) as executive producer, My Scientology Movie (2016) and Tell Me Who I Am (2019).
He is the son of Sir Trevor Chinn and attended school with Louis Theroux, for whom he later produced My Scientology Movie.
