Biography
Slimane Dazi is a French actor of Algerian-Berber descent. He was born on 26 May 1960 in Nanterre, France, and began acting in his mid-forties after working in various jobs including as a market trader.
He is known for his roles as Lattrache in A Prophet (2009), Slimane in Rengaine (2012, also known as Hold Back), for which he received acting awards at francophone film festivals, and Bilal in Only Lovers Left Alive (2013). His other credits include The Nile Hilton Incident (2017) and Gold Brick (2023). Dazi has appeared in both film and television since 2007.
