Biography
Solvan 'Slick' Naim is an Algerian-American director, writer, actor and rapper. Born in New York City in 1991, he graduated from New York University’s Clive Davis School of Recorded Music. He began his career directing his own music videos before moving into film and television.
Naim created, wrote, directed and starred in the Netflix comedy series It’s Bruno! (2019), which received an Emmy nomination. He directed the feature Full Circle (2013) and episodes of series including The Blacklist (2013), Power (2014), Snowfall (2017), Mo (2022), The Equalizer (2021) and Daredevil: Born Again (2025). He co-directed thirteen episodes of Mo and served as executive producer on its second season.
