Biography
Sönke Möhring is a German actor. He was born on 12 October 1972 in Unna and grew up in Herne. His father was an army officer and his mother a teacher. Following his older brother, actor Wotan Wilke Möhring, into the profession, he began acting in the early 2000s.
Möhring made his feature debut in Anatomy 2 (2003). He gained wider recognition for his role as Pvt. Butz in Inglourious Basterds (2009) and appeared as Karl Schweber in The Impossible (2012). He has worked in both German and international productions, including Kokowääh (2011), and has also done voice work for radio plays.
