Biography
Sonya Belousova is a Russian-American composer, music producer and songwriter. Born in Saint Petersburg in 1990, she began piano studies at the age of five and composition at ten. She trained at the Gnessin State Musical College in Moscow before studying film scoring at Berklee College of Music and UCLA in the United States.
Based in Los Angeles, Belousova has worked extensively with composer Giona Ostinelli. She gained recognition for her score and songs for the Netflix series The Witcher (2019), which included the chart-topping single 'Toss a Coin to Your Witcher'. Her other credits include the series ONE PIECE (2023) and the film Red Sonja (2025).
