Biography
Marc Jobst, also credited as Marc Dieter Jobst, is a British television director born in Harare, Zimbabwe. He began his career in theatre, co-founding the Three Monkeys Theatre Company, and later worked at the BBC for a decade, where he wrote, produced and directed documentaries, comedies and dramas.
Since going freelance in 2000, Jobst has directed episodes of series including Hannibal (2015), Black Sails (2017), The Punisher (2017), The Witcher (2019), Jupiter's Legacy (2021) and ONE PIECE (2023), on which he also served as executive producer. He has directed multiple episodes of Marvel Netflix series such as Daredevil (2016–2018) and Luke Cage (2016–2018).
