Biography
Lukas Ettlin is a Swiss cinematographer and director. Born in 1975 in Luzern, he graduated from New York University Film School and won the 2001 ASC Heritage Award from the American Society of Cinematographers.
He began his career as a cinematographer, shooting music videos and commercials before working on feature films including The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006), The Lincoln Lawyer (2011) and Battle: Los Angeles (2011). Ettlin later transitioned to directing, with credits on television series such as Black Sails, Marvel's Daredevil, Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, Raised by Wolves and For All Mankind (2023), where he also served as co-executive producer on multiple episodes. He has additionally worked as a producer on series including See and The Old Man.
