Biography
Adam Kane is an American director, producer and cinematographer. Born on 23 January 1968 in Burbank, California, he trained at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and the AFI Conservatory. He began his career as a cinematographer on films including The Boondock Saints (1999) before moving into directing with the short film The Fix (2005) and the feature Formosa Betrayed (2009).
As a television director his credits include episodes of Pushing Daisies (2007–2008), where he also served as producer, Heroes (2006–2010), The Mentalist (2008–2010), Supernatural (2005–), Marvel's Daredevil (2015), Hannibal (2013–2015), American Gods (2017) and Star Trek: Discovery (2017–). He is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers. He was previously married to actress Leslie Hope.
