Biography
Sophia Myles is an English actress. She was born on 18 March 1980 in Hammersmith, London. After being spotted by screenwriter Julian Fellowes in a school production, she made her screen debut in the BBC series The Prince and the Pauper (1996).
Myles is known for her film roles including Erika in Underworld (2003) and its sequel Underworld: Evolution (2006), Isolde in Tristan & Isolde (2006), and Darcy Tirrel in Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014). On television she has appeared as Madame de Pompadour in the Doctor Who episode "The Girl in the Fireplace" (2006), the Defence Lawyer in Extras (2006), Beth Turner in Moonlight (2007–2008), and Rebecca Bishop in A Discovery of Witches (2018–2021). She won the BAFTA Scotland Award for Best Actress for her performance in Hallam Foe (2007).
