Biography
Sophie Wilde is an Australian actress. She was born in Sydney and trained at the National Institute of Dramatic Art, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting in 2019.
She gained attention for roles in the series Eden and You Don't Know Me (both 2021). Her performance as Mia in the horror film Talk to Me (2022) brought wider recognition, winning the AACTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. Other film roles include The Portable Door (2023) and Babygirl (2024) as Esme. On television she has appeared in Tom Jones, Everything Now (both 2023) and Boy Swallows Universe (2024), for which she received a Logie Award. She was nominated for the BAFTA Rising Star Award and received the Trophée Chopard.
