Biography
Sophie Willan is an English actress, comedian and writer. Born on 21 October 1987 in Bolton, Lancashire, she began her career in theatre and stand-up comedy before moving into television.
Willan created, wrote and starred in the BBC sitcom Alma's Not Normal (2021–2024), winning multiple BAFTA awards for the series. Her other acting credits include Time (2021) as Maeve Riley, Ludwig (2024) as Holly Pinder, Still Open All Hours, Click & Collect (2018) and Small Prophets (2026) as Bev.
