Biography
Stan Shaw is an American actor. Born on 14 July 1952 in Chicago, Illinois, he began his career in stage productions including the Chicago run of the musical Hair and the Broadway shows The Me Nobody Knows and Via Galactica.
Shaw made his feature film debut in Truck Turner (1974). He appeared in Rocky (1976) as Dipper, The Boys in Company C (1978), The Great Santini (1979) and Fried Green Tomatoes (1991) as Big George. Later credits include Rising Sun (1993), Cutthroat Island (1995), Daylight (1996) and Snake Eyes (1998), as well as television series such as The X-Files and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
