Biography
Stefan Gierasch (5 February 1926 – 6 September 2014) was an American actor. He made his Broadway debut in 1944 and began screen work in 1951, accumulating more than 100 appearances, mostly in American television.
He appeared in films including The Hustler (1961), Jeremiah Johnson (1972), High Plains Drifter (1973), Carrie (1976) as Mr. Morton, and Junior (1994). Gierasch studied at the Actors Studio and performed with the Trinity Square Players in Providence, Rhode Island, in the mid-1960s.
His television credits include guest roles in MASH, Star Trek: The Next Generation and ER*.
