Biography
Stefanie Martini is an English actress. Born in Bristol in 1990 and raised in North Somerset, she trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating with a BA Hons in Acting in 2015 after earlier work with the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School's Made in Bristol programme.
She is known for her leading role as Jane Tennison in the 2017 ITV series Prime Suspect 1973. Other credits include Mary Thorne in Doctor Thorne (2016), Lady Ev in Emerald City (2017), Sophia de Haviland in the film Crooked House (2017), Eadith in The Last Kingdom and Marnie Palmer in The Gold (2023). She has also appeared in Endeavour, Make Up (2020) and LOLA (2023).
