Biography
Stephen M. Katz is an American cinematographer. Born on 10 August 1946 in Los Angeles, he studied design and photography at the California Institute of the Arts and the Art Center College of Design. He began his career working for producer Roger Corman.
Katz has served as director of photography on more than fifty feature films and numerous television productions. His credits include The Blues Brothers (1980), The Kentucky Fried Movie (1977), Gods and Monsters (1998), Baby Geniuses (1999) and I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer (2006). He is the brother of screenwriter Gloria Katz.
