Biography
Stephen Markley is an American writer of novels and television. Born in Mount Vernon, Ohio, he is a graduate of Miami University and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
Markley’s debut novel Ohio was published in 2018. His second novel, The Deluge, appeared in 2023. On television he has written episodes of Only Murders in the Building (2021–2022), where he also served as story editor, and of the Hulu series Paradise (2025–), on which he has worked as executive story editor and co-producer.
