Biography
Stephen Surjik is a Canadian film and television director and producer. Born in 1960 in Regina, Saskatchewan, he studied at Concordia University in Montreal.
He began directing for television with series including The Kids in the Hall and made his feature film debut with Wayne's World 2 (1993). His television credits include an episode of The X-Files (1994) and later work on series such as Arrow, The Flash, Marvel's Daredevil, Marvel's The Punisher, The Umbrella Academy, The Witcher and Reacher.
Surjik received three Gemini Award nominations for direction, for Little Criminals, Tripping the Wire: A Stephen Tree Mystery and Intelligence, and four Emmy Award nominations for Weapons of Mass Distraction.
