Biography
Steven Van Zandt is an American musician and actor. Best known as a guitarist and mandolin player in Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, he has also pursued a solo career as Little Steven with his band the Disciples of Soul. He created and hosted the radio programme Little Steven's Underground Garage.
Van Zandt made his acting debut as Silvio Dante, consigliere to Tony Soprano, in the HBO series The Sopranos (1999-2007). He later starred as Frank Tagliano in the Norwegian series Lilyhammer (2012-2014), which he co-created. His film roles include Jerry Vale in The Irishman (2019). He is married to actress Maureen Van Zandt, who played his on-screen wife Gabriella Dante.
