Biography
Stuart Pankin is an American actor. Born on 8 April 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he studied at Dickinson College and Columbia University before beginning a career in stage productions, including work with the New York Shakespeare Festival.
Pankin is known for his role as Bob Charles on the HBO series Not Necessarily the News (1983–1990) and as the voice of Earl Sinclair in the sitcom Dinosaurs (1991–1994). Film credits include Jimmy in Fatal Attraction (1987), Sheriff Parsons in Arachnophobia (1990), and appearances in The Artist (2011) and Congo (1995). He has also voiced characters in animated series such as Batman: The Animated Series and guest-starred in Curb Your Enthusiasm and Desperate Housewives.
He has been married to actress Joy Pankin since 1974.
