Biography
Sufjan Stevens is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and composer. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he began releasing solo albums in the early 2000s on the Asthmatic Kitty label, which he co-founded.
He is known for his film work, including original songs for Call Me by Your Name (2017), for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song. His other screen credits include Jessabelle (2014) and Little Miss Sunshine (2006). Stevens has also released ten solo studio albums and received Grammy nominations.
