Biography
Sunnyi Melles is a Swiss-Hungarian actress. Born on 7 October 1958 in Luxembourg, she is the daughter of Austrian conductor Carl Melles and Hungarian actress Judith von Rohonczy.
She trained at the Otto-Falckenberg-Schule in Munich. Melles is known for roles including Vera in Triangle of Sadness (2022), Frau Buddenberg in The Baader Meinhof Complex (2008), and appearances in Inspector Rex (1994) and The Awakening of Motti Wolkenbruch (2018).
Since 1993 she has been married to Prince Peter of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn. She received the Deutscher Fernsehpreis for best actress for her role in the series Die Zweiflers.
