Biography
Susan Beavers is an American television writer and producer. She began her career in television production, working as a receptionist on Barney Miller, then as a production secretary, writer’s assistant and script supervisor on series including Soap and Night Court.
Her writing credits include freelance episodes of Newhart (1985), The Golden Girls (1986) and The Facts of Life, as well as staff positions on Growing Pains and Empty Nest. She created the series Dudley (1993), The Office (1995) and Oh Baby (1998–2000). Later work includes writing and producing on Dharma & Greg and Two and a Half Men (2003–2012), for which she received Emmy nominations.
