Biography
Susse Wold is a Danish actress. Born Lise Wold on 17 November 1938 in Frederiksberg, she is the daughter of actress Marguerite Viby. She made her stage debut in 1958 and became a leading actress at Det Kongelige Teater.
Wold has appeared in numerous stage productions, television series including Matador (1978–82) as Gitte Graa, and films. Her screen credits include Valhalla (1986), The Hunt (2012) as Grethe, Another Round (2020) as Rektor and The Shadow in My Eye (2021) as Prioress. She won a Robert Award for Best Supporting Actress for The Hunt. She has also toured reading the works of H. C. Andersen and served as president of the Danish AIDS Foundation.
