Biography
Susumu Terajima (寺島 進) is a Japanese actor. He made his screen debut in the 1986 film A Homansu and trained at the Mifune Art Academy.
He is frequently cast in supporting roles, often portraying yakuza figures, and has appeared in many films directed by Takeshi Kitano, including Violent Cop (1989), Sonatine (1993) and Fireworks (1997), in which he played Nakamura. Other credits include Ichi the Killer (2001), Nobody Knows (2004) and the voice of Kiyomasa Oiwa in When Marnie Was There (2014). He is associated with Office Kitano.
