Biography
Suzie Harman is a British costume designer. She holds a degree in graphic design and began her career in fashion before moving into costume work for commercials, photoshoots and low-budget productions. Early collaborations included work with directors Guy Ritchie, Lenny Abrahamson and Paul Greengrass.
Her credits as costume designer include RocknRolla (2008), Blitz (2011), Frank (2014), 45 Years (2015), The Death of Stalin (2017), Extinction (2018), Pokémon Detective Pikachu (2019) and The Personal History of David Copperfield (2020). She has also designed for television series such as Vanity Fair (2018) and Avenue 5 (2020).
Harman won the British Independent Film Award for Best Costume Design for The Personal History of David Copperfield, along with a Satellite Award and other recognition for the same film. She has received further BIFA nominations for her work on The Death of Stalin.
