Biography
Suzy Amis Cameron is an American former actress and model who later became an environmental activist and author. Born Susan Elizabeth Amis on 5 January 1962 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she began her career as a Ford model before moving into acting in the 1980s.
She appeared in films including Fandango (1985), The Ballad of Little Jo (1993), Blown Away (1994), The Usual Suspects (1995) as Edie Finneran, and Titanic (1997) as Lizzy Calvert. Her acting credits also include episodes of Miami Vice (1984) and the television film Last Stand at Saber River (1997). She largely retired from acting after 1999.
In 2000 she married film director James Cameron, having previously been married to actor Sam Robards. She has co-founded Muse Global Schools and works on plant-based diet and environmental initiatives.
