Biography
Teller (born Raymond Joseph Teller) is an American magician, actor and writer. He is the silent half of the comedy magic duo Penn & Teller with Penn Jillette.
He was born on 14 February 1948 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Teller graduated from Amherst College with a degree in Classics and later taught high-school Latin before forming the duo in the 1970s. They are known for their long-running Las Vegas residency and television series including Penn & Teller: Bullshit!.
Teller has appeared in numerous television series and films, often credited under his mononym. His credits include roles in The Big Bang Theory (as Larry Fowler), The Simpsons, Young Sheldon and the 2026 series Stuart Fails to Save the Universe.
