Biography
Tenoch Huerta is a Mexican actor and activist. He was born José Tenoch Huerta Mejía on 29 January 1981 in Ecatepec, State of Mexico.
Huerta began acting in the mid-2000s after studying with María Elena Saldaña, Carlos Torres Torrija and Luis Felipe Tovar. His early film roles include appearances in Sin Nombre (2009) and El Infierno (2010). He later played Rafael Caro Quintero in the Netflix series Narcos: Mexico (2018).
Huerta portrayed Namor in the Marvel film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022), for which he received an NAACP Image Award. He is also known for roles in The Forever Purge (2021) and The 33 (2015), and is set to reprise Namor in Avengers: Doomsday (2026).
