Biography
Teodor Corban (also credited as Teo Corban) was a Romanian actor. He was born on 28 April 1957 in Iași, Romania, and died on 17 January 2023 in Bucharest.
He graduated from the Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in Bucharest in 1985. Corban worked in theatre at the "V. I. Popa" Theatre in Bârlad from 1985 to 1988 and, from 1989, at the Vasile Alecsandri National Theatre in Iași. His film roles include Virgil Jderescu in 12:08 East of Bucharest (2006), the Unirea Hotel receptionist in 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days (2007), a police inspector in Beyond the Hills (2012), and Costandin in Aferim! (2015). He received a Gopo Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for the latter.
