Biography
Teodoro Maniaci is an American cinematographer and documentary director. He was born in New York in 1961 and studied at Tufts University and the Graduate Film School of New York University.
His cinematography credits include the independent features Clean, Shaven (1993), Claire Dolan (1998), The Tao of Steve (2000), Party Monster (2003), Inside Deep Throat (2005) and Outsourced (2006). On television he has worked as director of photography on series including Person of Interest, Deadwood, Sleepy Hollow, The Bold Type and Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, with additional photography on Westworld. He was one of the cinematographers on the 2024 series Fallout.
Maniaci directed the documentary One Nation Under God (1993) about the ex-gay movement. He received the Hamptons International Film Festival Cinematography Award for Searching for Paradise (2002).
