Biography
Terence Alexander (11 March 1923 – 28 May 2009) was an English actor. He began his career in the theatre at the age of 16 and served as a lieutenant in the British Army during the Second World War, sustaining serious wounds in Italy.
He appeared in numerous films and television series. His film credits include The League of Gentlemen (1960), Waterloo (1970) and The Day of the Jackal (1973). On television he played Charlie Hungerford in the BBC series Bergerac (1981–1991) and featured in the 1967 BBC adaptation of The Forsyte Saga. He also performed in West End stage comedies and farces.
