Biography

Terilyn A. Shropshire is an American film and television editor. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and Cinema, and attended Nicolet High School in Glendale, Wisconsin.

Her feature editing credits include Eve's Bayou (1997), Love & Basketball (2000), The Secret Life of Bees (2008), The Woman King (2022) and Twisters (2024). She has collaborated extensively with directors Kasi Lemmons and Gina Prince-Bythewood. Shropshire also edited episodes of the series When They See Us (2019) and Quantico (2015).

She has received an Eddie Award from the American Cinema Editors and was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award. Shropshire is a member of the American Cinema Editors.
