Biography
Terry Kiser is an American actor born on 1 August 1939 in Omaha, Nebraska. He trained at the Actors Studio in New York after studying at the University of Kansas and worked in industrial engineering before pursuing acting full time. His early credits include a role in the 1968 film Rachel, Rachel and regular appearances on the soap operas The Secret Storm and The Doctors.
Kiser is best known for playing the title character Bernie Lomax in the 1989 comedy Weekend at Bernie's and its 1993 sequel. He has guest-starred on numerous television series, including All in the Family (1978) as Bob, Three's Company, Night Court (recurring as Al Craven), Hill Street Blues as Vic Hitler, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman as H. G. Wells, Walker, Texas Ranger, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Will & Grace and The Golden Girls. His other film roles include Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988) as Dr. Crews.
