Biography

Tim Sidell is a British cinematographer. He studied illustration before entering film, and has worked as director of photography on features and television drama.

His credits include The Night Manager (2016) and its second season (2026), both with director Georgi Banks-Davies; Peter Strickland’s Flux Gourmet (2022); the National Theatre production Romeo & Juliet (2021); and Two for Joy (2018). He also served as camera operator on second unit for Berberian Sound Studio (2012).

Sidell is a member of the British Society of Cinematographers. He has collaborated repeatedly with Banks-Davies, including on the series I Hate Suzie (2020).
