Biography
Timothy Carey (1929–1994) was an American character actor. He appeared as Howard Tetley in One-Eyed Jacks (1961) and as Flo in The Killing of a Chinese Bookie (1976).
Carey had notable roles in Stanley Kubrick's The Killing (1956) and Paths of Glory (1957), and in John Cassavetes films including Minnie and Moskowitz (1971). He wrote, produced, directed and starred in The World's Greatest Sinner (1962), which was scored by Frank Zappa. Other credits include East of Eden (1955), The Wild One (1953) and Head (1968).
His image appears on the cover of the Beatles album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Carey died in Los Angeles following a stroke.
